2 Pack French Oak Infusion Spirals - 8 Inch Heavy Toast

Made from premium oak, these toasted oak spirals increase extraction of aroma, flavor, and tannin by their greater surface area. Add to barrels, tanks, or carboys. Suggested dose is 2 sticks per 6 gallons, but you can snap the spirals into smaller portions to adjust to taste. The large surface area of the spiral design allows a shorter pickup time of wood character,  allowing adequate wood impact in a matter of 7 to 14 days of contact time. Full extraction of oak characteristics can be achieved in 6 weeks.
