Zythos is a new "IPA style" hop blend created to optimize and exceed the aroma characteristics of the traditional, and sometimes hard to get, IPA hops. Distinct tropical (pineapple) and citrus (lemon and grapefruit) tones, with slight pine characteristics. An excellent blend for any hop forward beer. Typical Alpha Acid: 10.0%-12.5%. Typical Beer Styles: American-style Ale, West Coast style hoppy Pale Ales and IPA's. Packaged in nitrogen flushed, oxygen barrier mylar-foil bag.
