Spruce Essence adds a fragrant pine aroma to holiday and spiced beers. Spruce is a traditional additive to beers prior to the days of hops. Add the essence during the last 2 minutes of the boil or in the secondary fermenter. Be careful on how much you use because this essence is very strong. Use sparingly.
