Blood Orange Puree is prepared from Blood Orange Juice and Orange Pulp. Blood Orange has a distinct, sweet flavor with a hint of raspberry. The blood orange pulp adds a nice texture that compliments the bright flavors. The product contains no preservatives and no additives. Sterile Blood Orange puree can be added directly to the primary or secondary fermenter. As the puree contains no seeds, add 10-15% less puree as you would fruit. One 49 oz. can will make 1 gallon of fruit wine. You should never boil the puree as it can create off flavors.
