One of the 4 came in broken - North Mountain Supply made it right quickly and sent me a replacement. They are great for fermenting - in my case mead. They do fill up to the bottom of the lid with a full gallon, for those concerned with headspace - however with good fermentation management it is not a problem. Great product for a really awesome price!
