Similar to Bravo, Nugget and Columbus. The very high alpha, good storage stability and low cohumulone ratio make Apollo an excellent choice for bittering. Added late into the boil it provides a strong grapefruit and hoppy note. Used toward the end of the boil it can contribute flavors and aromas of citrus, grapefruit, orange, pine, resin, and cannabis. Recommended for use in Pale Ales, Extra Pale Ales, and IPAs. This hop stores extremely well. Alpha Acid: 15 - 19%. Packaged in nitrogen flushed, oxygen barrier mylar-foil bag.
