Citric Acid - 2 ounces
- Used in sanitizing solutions to lower the pH, which will make the SO2 level more effective
- Also used to increase acidity
- 2 ounce bottle
Citric Acid can be used in sanitizing solutions to lower the pH, which will make the SO2 level more effective. It is also used to increase acidity at a ratio of 0.1% for each teaspoon per gallon in wine. Be careful with how much you add to your wine because you will get a very tart flavor if you use to much.

I purchased your citric acid from Amazon and it arrived with no instruction. I believe I can find instructions to add the right amount to canned marinara, tomatoes, produce etc. Please advise how to use to make cleansers, and remove mineral buildup, calcium deposits etc. Thank you.
Aug 24, 2021, 12:03:20 PMcitric acid cleaning solution recipe is to mix a couple of heaping tablespoons of citric acid powder with hot water in a 16 oz spray bottle. Shake to dissolve the citric acid and it's ready to be used. All you have to do is spray it on the non-porous surface, give it a few minutes to do its thing, then wipe or rinse with water.
