I have bought these jars twice now and I love them . Now I am questions what I am doing with them . I making old fashion hot pepper sauce by pouring hot vinegar, salt and spice mixture over peppers that I have put in jars . Then I screw cap on it after it cools down some. I am so used to water bathing everything that I have now scared myself. So with this kind of cap is it safe to store on shelf now?

I ordered these through Amazon intending to use them for elderberry syrup. Last time I made syrup I used a water bath and canned them that way. With the metal lids and the proposed hot sealing them are they able to store long term like using a water bath or what's the best way to do this so they don't need to be refrigerated. Thanks

I just receieved these bottles. They are pretty dusty (no big deal) just wondering how best to clean them before i put syrup in? Can i just rinse with hot water?

I just purchased these bottles on Amazon for maple syrup storage but now have read through other’s questions. Are the lids safe for long term syrup storage? Also, do the bottles need to be sterilized prior to use?
