I have purchased the 8oz stout sauce jar 38mm twice from Amazon. Each order had white metal lids, but they were different on the backsides. One looks flat almost like it has an extra seal and the other was more like a ring of “glue”. When I looked up how to can a syrup like product it told me to hot pack them by just letting them seal without process. Today I see that the answer to other customers same question was that it should be processed just like any other jar. Is hot water bath necessary? How will these kids best seal? If you need reference to other answer, I do have a screenshot. Thank you.
