    Amazing packaging

Love that they placed the Fragile Glass Inside on the box, that way carriers don’t abuse this gorgeous carboys!

    Broken Jug

My first order of this product came with a broken Jug. Return and reorder was a breeze.

    Great

Great stuff from North Mountain Supply. Awesome value for money. Carboys were packaged very well. Made multiple orders from North Mountain and haven’t been dissatisfied yet. One thing to be careful of is the white rubber stoppers are not as good as some others I have gotten. If not dried and shoved into the carboy they will slide back out easily.

    Heavy, but quality

Best one gallon jugs I've used for the price, but the jugs are on the heavier side. Not particularly easy to clean but that is expected. Be careful with fruit meads as these bubble over pretty easy.

Good price for good quality! Love it

Can’t ask for more. Beautiful carboys work great for my homemade red wine. Love the price too

    The best.

I've bought these a couple of times and each time has worked out perfectly. The glass is heavy and well packaged. They not only survive shipping, they survive being used multiple times. No amount of bonks, dings, or accidentally being knocked over has harmed them.
The air locks are fantastic, everything fits together without issue. Having the lids is also handy.
The shipping box has dividers and is excellent for storing any jugs that aren't in use.

    Great packaging for glass

I really appreciate the extra cardboard to cushion the glass bottles against knocking against each other, but somehow one of the four 2-piece airlocks was missing the bottom half? Probably just fell off while packing at the factory, and I have other airlocks so it's not a big deal to me, but if this was my first set of equipment I'd probably be upset that one of the fermenters was rendered inoperable.

    Well made and great price

After buying another brand originally that came with the tops cracked on both I purchased these and wow what a difference twice as thick as the other brand and zero shipping damage.

Product is of great quality and the team at North Mountain is A+

Order arrived complete and as expected 4 glass carboys which in this particular order came with accessories such as bungs and airlocks. One item of the lot had a defect I was uncomfortable with and North Mountain reached out in short order (same week) and offered to ship a replacement vessel. This is as five star as an experience gets as a new winemaker. North Mountain offers good value equipment and a valid warranty and so my future purchases in this hobby will be with them. Knowing items are under warranty yields brand loyalty with me as the glass they source and ship is covered. There are a lot of vendors for items in this hobby, North Mountain offers fine equipment and they actually stand by their warranty as other reviews had indicated. These guys are worth the money

    Great Carboy

I am writing this review after using one carboy for about 2 weeks as a secondary fermenter. The glass jugs came well packed without any damage to anything. The carboys are very nice. The only things that I have a problem with is the bung and the two piece airlocks. If the bung and the carboy rim are not perfectly dry you can push the bung completely into the opening and have to dig it back out. As for the airlocks I will be replacing them shortly as they need to be filled with fluid almost daily, none of the three piece airlocks I use have this problem. These two issues are the reason for the 4/5 stars rating. But once again I’m very happen with the carboys and the price paid.
