By far the most popular base malt used in home brewing. It is recommended for most styles of beers. It has a less husky flavor than typical American 6-Row malts. Adds a smoother, more malty flavor without any excessive tannic bitterness. Distiller's Malt has exceptionally high alpha amylase and diastatic power for maximum fermentable yield.
